"To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."
Luke 1:79

Micky

I was adopted in August 1999

Micky & Sugar

Micky &
Missy
Mick was our first cat since my hubby retired from the military.
I found him in a corner of a cage and pulled him out. He was hissing and clawing. I still wanted him. Later that day once we where home, I received a phone call from the Guardian Angel program.

She told me that Micky was the only survivor from a litter found on the freeway. A lady stopped after she saw something moving and found a plastic grocery bag with a towel wrapped around 4 kittens. Micky was one of them.
They called him Freeway, he is very shy and does not trust any woman, including me.  He does not like any fast movements ether

He sleeps on everything it belongs to me when I am not around but I can't come to close to him. Now my Husband, Barb, Nett & Nick can pet him and play with him, not me. So we are thinking that it was a lady who through them out. He is getting better, I can move around him with out him running into the closet, but I can't come to close.

Micky; Socks & Missy

When we first got Mickey he would not come out of corners, we contacted the Guardian angel program and decided with them that it would be a good Idea to get another cat, a little older and female, and see how that goes. That's when we went and got Missy, she was 1 month older than Micky and it helped. First he would only come out during night, now he is everywhere (but mainly in the master bedroom), as long as I am not close by. It is kind of sad, but I am happy that he has a good life and adopted my hubby as his guardian. We also have Socks & Sugar
